Matt Coates joined Berkeley Capital Advisors in 2021. In addition to assisting all transactions, he facilitates marketing, sources buyers, and underwrites deals for the West Coast Team. Since joining Berkeley, Matt has been involved with $3B+ transactions. Prior to Berkeley, he was a core member of the convenience store sales team at Matthews REIS and, in 2019, he spearheaded all transactions for the top agents and was involved in 350+ transactions. Matt started his real estate career at Colliers International as a sales agent, where he was on the top retail investment sales team. Matt graduated from Chapman University in 2013 with a B.S. in Business Administration and minor in Applied Psychology. In his free time, he enjoys watching and playing sports and is a huge fantasy football enthusiast.
